"Becoming who we’re meant to be creatively means embracing who we are."
There is certainly more than one way to view the day, and I am quite grateful for a glimpse through your pink lens.
And thank you for this wise parenthetical. " I got all but lost. (Note to self: this is always a sign for a writer. It means possibility. A series. Even a book. Don’t try to cover it all in one post. . ."
It can be so hard to embrace who we are and let that play itself out in our creative lives, especially if we admire others who do things differently. It takes trust. In who we are. In our unique gifts. In what our lens can give to the world—grounded in our very particular places (geography, family, life circumstances, etc.).
Splendid.. I always love some Edith Piaf! So appropriate for Valentine's Day. And ... I've ordered some of the Palais des Thes rooibos; can't wait to try it.

That is hard-won wisdom. :) But also freeing.
Yes. And I think again of how supportive creative community helps here - affirming your unique lens being put in the projector.
"Show us *your* slide!"
[Applause]
(Or, since slide shows aren't known for applause and encores, another metaphor- "We can't wait to see your exhibition at the gallery!")
Exactly!!!
I love every word, sound, photo! Being an artist is about being who you are, and continually growing into even more of who you are.
Thank you, Donna. I love how *you* do this. I can feel it in your work. :)
Oh, that makes me so happy to know. ❤️

Ooo! I hope you enjoy the rooibos. And I'm glad Edith has made your Valentine's Day ❤️
"Beauty. Enchantment. Hope."
A recipe for joy, no? :)
YES:)
